Georgetown is DC's oldest neighborhood and still its most cinematic. Federal-era row houses line brick sidewalks along M Street and Wisconsin Avenue, where flagship shops share the block with indie bookstores, wine bars, and the kind of bakery queue that's worth standing in. The C&O Canal runs through the middle of it, the Potomac waterfront anchors the south, and the whole thing slopes up into quiet residential streets that feel like a film set.
